I also went to true rear coils. They don't exactly "bolt up". Had to cut and clearence some of the wheel well out of both sides. The upper mount didn't fit inside the strut tower so I had to cut a bit off that too. And the lower spring perch rubs the outer cv boot. Will have to get some slim ones to deal with that.

The rear strut towers in this car are actually doubled up with 3/16 plate so they won't ever break haha. The mount on the trailing arm is questionable. I am not really into welding to the cast trailing arm as I feel that will weaken it unnecessarily. I am thinking of making a bolt in double shear piece that welds to the trailing arm far away from the mounting boss to ensure the cast is not affected where its most critical. Thoughts?

Some pics of the finished cage if anyone is interested.

All subframe mounts and diff are tied in now

The whole a-pillar and door bar situation inspires confidence

Didn't go overboard on the roof crossers

Weldage

Got the 4 door back on the road now, just needs an oil change and swap out the fuel lines on the weekend.

Currently installing Aeromotive fuel rails on the LS, ordered my rims and tires, and just need to reinforce the trunk lid for the wing and hook up the oil cooler.

Enjoying the swapped car daily now! On the lookout for some stock "i" springs and hunting down a driveline done/vibration - it's never ending isn't it..!

Nice. Solid numbers. Any media?

Whats going on with your driveline? Buying those rebuilt axles? Heard bad things about them.

I have a rebuilt one in there now. Seem's to hold up OK. I need a built set.

Turns out my wheel bearing decided to say '**** you' today. Heard some weird rattle, put it on the hoist and I can move it up and down a half inch. which is weird because it was fine before I went to the track. Oh well, I guess I need to put one in.

Theres videos on my instagram. SamE30t
