thats true. any shop can do that.
i would go to carstar (the one on wyecroft). they are really well priced. They quoted me $2500 for body work and full respray. they would removed everything also.
try them. good people with really good quality. i'll be going there soon to fix a dent on my rocker panel.

Jordan, thanks for the imput bud. I have seen 'routine work' get chopped quite a few times already, im not bringing my car to a shady 'slap it together' kind of establishment. Im sure you can understand that.

thanks guys for the info!!

I didn't say bring it to some chop shop.

I said any decent shop can do the work. There is nothing special about a e30. Its made of metal, accepts bondo in the same fashion as any other metal car, and paint is mixed and sprayed in the same manner as any other car.

You don't need some specialist, and unless insurance is paying out the nose, then you don't need to goto the best show car shop in town.

Whoever the locals say does good work is good enough.

I recommend Body Lines in North York (close to dufferin and Finch) or Dufferin Autobody close to Yorkdale.

I've had really good experiance with both of them.

I will check that out tomorro im in the area, thanks!

I do realize that an e30 is a car, made of metal, bondo sticks and paint is applied the same as any other vehicle. Its the procedure and respect a auto body tech shows in doing so. Im sure Texas is the same as Toronto, body shops everywhere. Some of the best shops are not known, just small places located in tight corners around the city. Some of the worst shops are located right around the corner aswell. I was just lookin for the inside scoop, so i described it as a 'e30 specialist'. Not trying to be ignorant, i respect your knowledge for bimmers, and you have a sick e30.

You have no idea.

Texas is right next to Mexico.

That means alot of very cheap, very lousy labor.

I see SO MANY HORRID paintjobs here. More then I've ever seen otherwise in my life.

I's sickening to know people actually pay for some of the paint work I've seen.
