FS/Trade: 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE

Up for sale or trade is my '84 GSL-SE. I was planning on keeping this car for a long time, but I'm moving soon and my storage space is going to disappear, so I figured I would try and sell the car to someone looking for a weekend toy, or a basis for an awesome project. The car was built with longevity as a goal, so everything was done properly using only the best parts. I planned on this being one of those weekend cars you take out to the track on weekends and still have in 30 years, so you could pass it on to your child. No short-cuts were taken and the car is in no way 'hacked-up' like most examples for sale these days. I haven't so much as cut a wire on the factory wiring harness - the car itself is in amazing condition having been undercoated and winter-stored it's entire life. All it needs is a turbo, a set of nice wheels, and maybe coil-over suspension, and you'll have one of the nicest old school RX-7s around.

- 203,000km (like it matters after everything has been replaced...)
- 5 speed
- Power Windows and Mirrors
- Sunroof
- Kenwood MP3 Player
- RX-7 GSL Limited Slip differential (harder lock-up than original diff)
- GSL-SE package has bigger brakes, stiffer springs, etc... Cost 60% more than the next lowest trim model in 1984 to give you an idea of the changes.

- Fresh paint in 2005
- No rust, body is in great shape (have pics before paint to prove)

- Freshly rebuilt and streetported S5 13B done by a highly reputable builder (about 180hp)
- ACT Street Clutch Set (PP and Disk)
- 8lb. 6061 Aluminum flywheel
- Full Racing Beat Exhaust system (header to exhaust)
- Electromotive TEC3 Standalone Engine Management System, controlling:
- Zeitronix Wideband Sensor and Controller
- 640cc Primary injectors
- 420cc Secondary injectors
- 16" 2000cfm electric fan
- 4x individual coils
- Custom trigger wheel and mag sensor setup
- Two-step rev-limiter circuit wired to clutch pedal

- Full Energy Suspension bushings
- Tokico blue front strut inserts
- KYB Gas-A-Just rear shocks

- Cross-drilled front and rotors
- PBR Front and rear pads

- 14"x6" Enkei wheels
- Falken Azenis RT-615 (90% tread front, 70% tread rear)

- Autometer 20psi Boost
- Autometer Air-Fuel Ratio
- Stewart Warner 2200degF EGT Gauge
- Stewart Warner Electronic Fuel Gauge

- Carpet so clean, you won't believe its in a 26 year old car.

- 14.6@94mph (base tune run in late September... cold out...)

$3500 without TEC 3 system, running on OEM EFI

Interested in trading for a E30 or E36, and partial trade + my cash on a E46 325 or 328, or E39 540. Other interesting trades considered as well.

I though you wanted an S4?!! I see you're coming around to Bimmers, finally. Too bad you have to sell though.

This car is in great shape... no rust showers from the sunroof either! Very clean!

I might not have to sell since I found a very cheap place to store the car. So if I don't get what I'm looking for, I'll just use it to beat up on Sam's car...
