What a suprise. I used to think that you were done with E36 line up, but I guess I was wrong.
I always wondered if you still have your old 328is?

Yes but it became my winter beater after I got the e92 M3. It was in amazing condition up until I stopped taking care of it, now it's rusted out. Only has 150km.

Hmm if you kept her clean, you could still get some decent coin for that car. I guess the lesson learned right there.

I thought the same thing at one point but if you look at used prices for clean low mileage regular E36 3 series they dont go for much especially when you can get an M3 for only a little bit more.

Everyone wants the ///M badge.

I guess that is because even the E46 M3s are not going for some crazy cash. So it is a domino effect on the E36 M3.

Regular E46 Ms, yes, but a late model ZCP is still holding decent value, not crazy cash but on the higher side.

Your car looks great! I brought up a rust free 97 M3 sedan last summer, it's well worth the currency premium in my opinion.

I've had very little luck finding a CD43, other than eBay units for $300USD. Did you source your CD43 locally?

Yup, you just cant find these cars in this shape in Canada. The market is much smaller and rust is obviously a huge issue here.

I bought it for $250 years ago and had it in my 328is since. I am actually going to transfer the majority of the aftermarket parts from the 328is to the M3.

When you get a time, post a pic of your old E36 if you don't mind. Just wondering how bad is the rust.
