I think you pretty much summed it up there.

And yeah, really. It's just a shame that BMWs have gotten popular enough with that low of a price point... which in turn allows for such distasteful addons, with people liking it! That's just my reaction to an individual that likes a riced out BMW... I mean, common Geoff, you are telling me that car doesn't make you cringe or at least say ugh? Nothing about it is class. At all.

I commend people people that mod, fix up, whatever you want to call it. But when the end result looks like a clown shoe with M stripes on it, well...... Not really sure how it's likeable

It just looks like it's not fitted right, and it takes that E36 look away, I mean they've been around since 1991....but again it's up to you

Personal preference aside, I think it looks out of place as it is missing the the rub rail trim.

DAAMN, Its the Revolution STD front bump. 250$

I was going to buy that same bumper... almost... it looks like it doesn't fit properly. An yeah those M stripes on the side don't float my boat either. Killer headlights though

It does and I'd have a good chuckle if it drove by me.

But that's different from insulting someone. If I ran into him at a Tim's parking lot I'd chat him up about the car and say it looks like he loves his car and if he asked, I'd say I like the stock look myself. But there's no point putting someone else down if they have not done anything against you.

At the end of the day - no harm, no foul. But I just get a bit sick of people on the boards hating on others, just because thier tastes don't align. And for some reason I decided to bring it up now

I'm not a purist, But I like a clean look that sticks to the time period. I like some modern touches, but these cars don't need much.

Excellent point and I do agree, I am not a fan of it but to each is own.
My buddies wife may look like crap to me but not to my buddy.

Excellent write.

I myself am not a fan of it but its not my car and nor do I care. Someone out there obviously likes it and that is all that matters.

Eh, I've seen worse. That car is a bumper, nose panel, headlights and a razor blade away from average.

It's a Seidl Tuning bumper or at least a replica of it.
I think it's ugly.
