Ignore completely or......

I was downtown Sunday for a matinee show(Snow White - hilarious) and I parked in a lot that has parking meter, my mistake was I used the parking meter from the street(meter was directly in front of my car), and not from the lot, so I paid for 3 hours and put the ticket on my dash.

Upon returning, I found a parking fine on my wind shield - reason: "No ticket or pass displayed", which I did but from the wrong meter..hmm where is the holiday spirit?

I just found out that the violation ticket has the wrong license number(AZSF668, mine is ASZF668, difference is in the 2nd and 3rd aphlabet) were printed, NOT hand written, so can I simply ignore this?

yes you can ignore it, wrong plate = they dont have any record of you

also, green P people get a bonus for writing tickets. They'll never let anyone go (unless you're standing next to them, in which case they usually back down).
