Hey guys, I have a 1984 318i with the m10, I just recently picked up a 1991 318i M42. The 84 is a coupe and the 91 is a four door. I am wondering body wise other then doors what would be the differences. Obviously engine , just want to know what i can box up or swap over to the 91 if it is in better shape from the 84 before I send it to scrap. I am really interested in knowing about the rear wheel well, at the bottom closest to the front where the arch begins, as i have some rust on the 91 and would like to cut it out and replace it. cheers guys, ty

arches are completely different from old and late models. tailights and bumpers are different as well. but like richie said its mostly interior parts and body parts like hood, fenders, sunroof, trunk, mirrors.. things of that sort you should be able to swap.
