Yeah, it's hard to say no to a 200 hp k-series with that sweet gearbox. The LSD must make it awesome; my only gripe with the acura rsx-s is the lack of an LSD.

That said, my uncle has an rsx-s, and it's going on 225k without any real problems.

the sedan is win. I like it a lot more than the coupe.
You chose wisely!

congrats. Make sure you make a new post letting people know your choice and how nice to drive it is. Itll make the bmw fanbois squirm

All youll have to worry about is changing fluids/wear items. Enjoy it.
i/h reflash really opens the car up to(and doesnt cost a lot of money)
something to think about.

edit: looking at your sig..and then seeing your location Im pretty sure Ive seen you many times.

I agree. My sister had an RSX-S for 5 years, never did a thing but change the oil. Inside wheel spin was a huge problem though, the Si should be a monster. Congrats OP.

I find pretty much all recent Japanese cars soo ugly it makes me want to throw up, but I like the exterior of the '12 better than the current one. Just needs a slam.

Gotta admit, I enjoy driving my parents 08 civic. Apart from the horrible obstruction of view known as the A-pillar it's a very solid car, so I can't hate on honda...in fact I like the look of that one ^

This guy right here will purchase 50 more condo's in the downtown core - in turn driving up prices for the average Torontonian... in part with money generated from your purchase ... damn those Japanese and their reliable vehicles.

Good Choice though... Congrats on your new vehicle! Hope you made the right choice... those Civics keep going and going and going!

I'm stuck driving a Toyota Camry to the ground... I'll probably be driving it into my 70's...

the 12 is nasty and generally accepted by most as bad...continues honda's slide downhill.
that one will come with a 2.4L 4. 200 hp, 17x ftlbs.

Yeah I'm not liking the 2012 and I'm not a fan of buying any car on its first year. A lot of the 2006 Civics (Well non K20 hehe) have cracked engine block problems.

Got the car yesterday and drove it around some more. It drives like a dream. It's no BMW, I still miss the RWD but it certainly drives like a VW, minus the reliability issues.

I will miss my Escape but only for the next week.

Congrats. Perfect daily driver, amazing thing is the fuel consumption. My uncle is averaging 8L/100 in the city (short 5km commute). I had the car for a week while I was ironing out some minor issues (exhaust leak, rad leaking, mainly result of previous owners neglect) and I averaged 9L/100, driving it the way the factory intended. Great buy, enjoy the hell out of it.
