How to save $$$ on the 407 (for limited time only)

So I had lunch today with my friend who now works at the 407......did you know that once you enter the 407 (with transponder) then remove it immediately after it confuses their system when exiting.

The net result is that the computer "errors out" and they only charge you for one stop.

My friend has been hired to "fix" this glitch..... lets hope he gets paid by the hour....

Old news... You don't even have to pull the transponder for the most part...

Their system isn't all that reliable to begin with... It will randomly not pick up the transponder whenever it feels like it.

There was a bulletin issued that they will begin to charge in accordance with your "average" trip length per month rather than 1 exit. Not sure when this will begin.

Yeah, I had that happen to me a couple of times last year. Sucks because I have to call them to contest the charges and it's always a hassle.
