86 528e steerig problem

this just happened to me a few days ago, but i got into the car to go to work and for whatever reason the steering just went really stiff. Its weird cause it isn't stiff through out the whole turning radius, just certain parts of the turn, i'm not even sure how to describe it but it anyone has any suggestions i would gladdly hear them ... thanks

this happens in our 733i. It seems to occur when the car is cold. Its the steering knuckle, visible from underneath. If you jack the front up and have someone turn the steering wheel. The knuckle spins, that is the one causing you trouble

thought maybe it was that, but its not only when it is cold... it is all the time... it was going good for a couple days again, despite the cold weather and now again it is stiff again... propably just the fluid... its pretty dirty... propably a clog somewhere in the line
