I've been there also, again with Randy on the way to karting in Hamilton. I guess there are two ways to solve this, someone bring a level and put it on the street, or bring a compass and see if it points the wrong way.

There is a magnetic hill near my house...its the entrance to an old wal-mart store. It is pretty steep too.
