Funny: fixed rear exhaust hanger...



Well my rear ruber exhaust hanger/absorber broke. Its basically a rubber piece (cylinder) with two threaded bolts on either end. the unit itself is about 1 inch in diameter and the bolts are about 2 inches long with the height of the cylinder about an inch as well...

Anyways, I went looking for a new one for the past few days (it came with the eisenmann exhaust). I couldn't find anything like it anywhere (I checked exhaust shops, parts source, dealer and canadian tire).

Anyways I was at munich motors last night where we had the car up on the hoist and installed the new springs (5 minute job). We found on the floor a used transmission mount from an e46 330. Anyays that did the trick. Its much thicker now and I doubt that it will break like the last one
