A swirling noise from the engine, wtf?

Just recently, I started to get this swirling sound. It almost sounds like a bearing is going bad in my rad fan. Does that make sense?

It sounds very similar to when my throwout bearing was going, however, that swirling sound will stop the instant you push in the clutch. So I know its not that.

Any ideas?

steady sound, only when the engine is running.

it sounds like if you grime in a bearing and were turning it, its not a smooth sound. It almost sounds like when stand outside a person's car when they have the AC cranked. But I'm not running any ac at the time.
