Very, very aggressive setup that will only work with rolled fenders and tiny tires. 195/45 is ideal (195/40 works too).

Hi Mystikal, been a while since I posted here.

I'm really looking into buying a set of these Apex Arc-8. They would be dedicated to track tires.

What do you think? Spec is 17x8.5 et20. Currently on bilstein H&R combo.

Ordered a set of 15X8 AVID.1 HYPER SILVER WHEELS AV-12 4X100 +25. Looking for the best tires size that does not looked stretched and if possible does not require rolling the fenders. H&R Sport Springs with Blistien Sport shocks.

Hi Mystikal, fantastic and informative thread, thanks for all your information! Just picked up an '88 325is and here's my desired setup:
Ground Control suspension - hoping to drop it approx. 2"
Looking to run all 4 wheels the same size, ESM-002r (either 16x8 ET20 or 16x9 ET15) most likely with a 205/50 or 205/45 tire.
Would either of those wheel sizes work for me without needing spacers or any fender rolling?
I would prefer the 16x9s for the deeper dish look, but if I will need spacers or fender rolling then I'd prefer the 16x8s.
Thanks for your help!!

How well will these fit on a mostly stock '92 e30 Cabrio? 16x7 +30 4x100 Sparco Terra with 215/50-16 Dunlop Direzza DZ102.

Thanks

Will be super tight against the front struts. Might need a 3-5mm front spacer to clear safely.

'92 E30 - 16x8 -5 with 195/45 all around.
Will this require serious fender rolling & stretching

Yes, lots of rolling. It will still rub afterwards also. Offset is too low.

Hey Jay... looking at a set of 16s... they are Momo, 4x100, 7.5X16, ET40. They would be coming with 205 60 R16 Bridgestone Ecopia... can these fit on an E30 running stock suspension?

Needs spacers (15-20mm) and smaller tires (205/50)

Hi Mystikal,
New E30 Owner, and I'm looking at putting some 16in klutch sl1 wheels on the convertible.
I could use some help with tire size and offset. Car is stock, but maybe down the road will get some coilovers. Any advice is appreciated.
