335i no start

Hey guys,

So this evening I wanted to take the 335i to get dinner, get in and...nothing. Fuel pump turns on and shoots fuel through the fuel transfer unit ( audible), lights, hvac etc come on as normal, relay and throttle body click, no crank. Car was fine earlier today.

Took the battery out and threw it on a tender just incase. Checked the engine grounding strap, seems fine visually, haven't crawled under to tug on it yet, but ran a jumper cable from the block to the body and nada.

I am assuming its the starter. Is there anyway to tap it without removing the intake mani?

This car has been nothing but a money pit.

Ok, so I checked the Irritable Battery Syndrome (IBS) module by unplugging it, nada, checked the POS junction under the ecu, nada, checked the crash sensor module on the battery, nada, and did my best to tap the starter through the intake mani holes and nada! Next I guess I am going to rip the intake mani out since I am in there already, clean it up, do a valve cleaning, and hammer the starter to see if it kicks in. I am at a loss.

Check the fuse box behind the glove compartment, TONS of problems with them. Sometimes not even visible until all cables removed. But starter is a good assumption.

Good call, I'll check that too, but honestly, I bet its the starter at this point
