What to do with my 2002 325i?

Hello Friends,

New to the community but wanted your opinions. I took a job out west and unfortunately I need to part with my baby my 2002 325i which I've taken very good care of (not a garage queen but when she cries I always bought her what she needs)

I bought her in 2009 with only 60,000 km on the clock (previous owner only used her in summer). Now its 2018 and it has just under 250,000. I've serviced it exclusively at Lakeside Motors and always kept up on repairs.

It's got a bit of rust, and the power steering is totally dead. I'm about to put it up on autotrader for what $1000? However I just did $600 of work 6 months ago on her and the car is still great, but I'm moving to Vancouver.

I'm worried I won't find a buyer and I'll have to drive this thing to the scrap yard and probably settle for $300-$500 i'm guessing.

Enginer / Tranny is strong, it's manual transmission and still fun to drive but a good bicep workout to park without power steering. Any idea on what I should do with this thing?

I was thinking to try and part it out but I'm not mechanically inclined. Any idea friends?
