E39 ECU tuning: SAP/cold start delete

The SAP (Secondary Air Pump) on my 2003 530i is failing and I want to delete it. I can do the mechanical work, but I need someone with experience to do the ECU tuning: to modify the ECU so that the car ignores the cold start code and I get no errors on the dash.

Do you know/recommend anyone?

Much appreciated!

I'm on the process on getting info on that too.

Apparently, there are a few options for a DIY

-Shark Injector.
-Get a obd cable (20$) and tune your own with a coding program on your laptop. On my M5 I would use the Ecuworkx binary tool but not sure if they make one for your application. INPA may work though I havent got the time to try it.

Yep it can, you need to order the right shark for this. There are a bunch of combinations possible... Visit turner or ecs websites
