E30 Swapped s50 LOUD KNOCKING HELP??

Hello, so i got 91 e30 swapped out with late e36 m3 s50 motor, and all was good until one day, i started to hear a really loud knocking, the knocking seems like its coming from the engine close to the cams, the knocking only occurs when in neutral (clutch not engaged), no noise when in gear or when revving it up in neutral. I have no idea where its coming from and its scaring the S*** out of me, I'm thinking it could be a loose flywheel?? Any help please I've got no clue what could be causing it ???? Ill upload a google drive link of the audio file of the knocking if it helps

Is the noise ONLY when your foot is off the clutch pedal?
If you push the pedal in, it goes away completely?

What transmission are you using and did you use it before the swap?

Possibly the throw out bearing? I had the same thing and it was a loose washer banging around in there and then it finally broke threw.
