New Member - My E46 M3 Track Build

Hey all,

I'm a new member here and only recently stumbled on to this Canadian based forum (today in fact). Love that I've found what looks to be a good community north of the border, albeit quite a bit east from me as I'm in Vancouver.

This is my second E46 M3 and I picked it up almost 1 year ago in bone stock form. Since then, I've put a lot of time into building a fun track car. There is so much more to do and I am looking forward to it all (unless someone ends up buying it as it is for sale. I am secretly hoping I don't find a buyer so I can keep building and enjoying it though haha)

Anyway, here we go:

Performance:

- AFE Silicon Intake elbow
- AFE Power Magnum Flow Pro Dry S drop in filter
- Supersprint Race section 3 muffler
- Ebay header - looks like I got a good batch as the flanges are flat
- Status Gruppe rasp eliminator section 1

Brakes:

- BW SS Brake Lines
- PFC 08 pads (front and rear)
- Motul RBF600 brake Fluid
- Turner Motorsport brass guide bushings (front only so far)

Suspension:
- AST 4200 2-way coils
- Hyperco Springs - 600/750 spring rates
- Vorschlag camber plates
- AST adjustable rear spring mounts with torrington bearings
- AST RSM w/ reinforcement plates
- AKG 95D FCAB
- Powerflex Black Series RTAB
- AKG 75D subframe bushings
- AKG 75D differential mount bushings
- AKG adjustable rear control arms

Exterior
- Aeromotions rear wing on custom 12" uprights. and modified side plates
- CF race lip
- Custom alupanel front diffuser with BW standoffs/support brackets
- Sunroof delete with S2R fiberglass insert painted steel grey
- CSL Rep rear diffuser - Half painted steel grey
- Matte black kidney grills
- Matte black fender grills
- DEPO smoked front corners
- DEPO smoked side markers
- DEPO smoked rear LED tails

Interior

- AKG Stage 2 Quickshifter
- BMW Alcantara shift boot
- Personal Grinta 350mm perforated leather wheel w/ red stitch (NRG Short hub and V2.5 QR)
- Sparco Evo Grip Tech Drivers seat (VAC floor mounts and OMP side mounts)
- Sparco Evo2 Grip Tech Passenger seat (VACN floor, side mounts and sliders) - havn't installed yet
- Schroth Hybrid 2 6-Point Harnesses in Red - Driver and Passenger - awaiting install
- custom door panel blanks - made by fellow member M Clunk
- car is about 85% stripped - all that is left is the front carpet and front dash items

Wheels and Tires:

- Apex Arc 8 - Hyper Silver - 18x10 et25 - wrapped in Hankook RS3 in 265/35/18
- Apex Arc 8 - Matte Bronze - 18x10 et25 - wrapped with Federal 595 RS-RR in 265/35/18 (7mm wider than the rs3 in the same tire size)
- H&R Stud conversion

Other:

- AKG 75D Engine Mounts
- AKG 75D Tranny mount bushings
- Kirk bolt in 4 point roll bar/half cage
- LAWlence hood vents - sides and centre
- TMS rear subframe reinforcement plates

Off-season items i'll be addressing:

Thanks and looking forward to participating with this group!

Nick

Looks good! Were you happy with the fit of your S2R sunroof panel? I find that the rear edge/passenger corner doesn't fit flush to to the roof on these... whereas E36 ones are perfect.
