rear aprons....



wuts up boys .. i have an 87 325i .. im looking for a rear apron... i have no idea what kind.. any ideas?? and also any idea on places i can get them???... also whats the pros n cons between plastic n metal bumpers? (currently have metal.. which i dont mind but i noticed everyone else seems to prefer plastic)

you can't get plastic bumpers on the 87's and I think BMP is only one with a rear apron for the 87..

I'm in the same situation as you are, driving a euro 320i with chrome bumpers so my front valance and lip choices are VERY slim and my rear choices are.......that one you showed. I've been looking too, and I really kind find anything other than that that fits our cars. I personally don't mind that apron, but the problem is finding something to flow with it would be hard. You're better off getting someone with some glass experience to create something. If you decide to go with the rieger one. DO NOT buy an ebay cheapo knock-off. They'll require more work to fit them and in the end will be much more expensive than an authentic piece and they still won't fit as well.

The amount of worth of a project is determined by the person doing it.

It can be done on an 87>4, its just harder, not direct swap.
