A shoutout and a thank you to Mystikal

Hey guys, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Jay (Mystikal) for all his dedication, and hard work in planning the majority of our cruises and events for the past 14 years. As most of you already know, Jay has just retired from the role of being Maxbimmer's main event coordinator. Those that know Jay, are aware that this guy is serious when it comes to cruise planning, and making sure that things always go according to plan, even when you got 100+ BMW?s running down our highways, and at times almost losing grip Jay always took the time out of his own busy schedule to not only plan the cruises on paper, but actually drive the intended routes a day prior to the event. I think I can speak for everyone who made it to our cruises at least once, when I say that Jay always made sure that we?re gonna receive the true BMW experience when participating in a Maxbimmer cruise, or event. Thanks again for all your hard work, and dedication Jay!

For now, Maxbimmer will take a break from our official annual cruises, and focus on our forums, as we always did. Those of course, who are interested in planning a cruise of their own, may do so, and i will be glad to support anyone who does. If you have any questions, please email or pm me. bliss@maxbimmer.com

End of an era.

If it wasn’t for these events and his active participation with MaxBimmer, my gearhead story would be very different. Cheers to all the fantastic years of planning and executing these cruises as close to perfect as one can manage. And all of it for your sheer love for BMWs and driving.

Crazy to think many “car clubs” these days charge annual fees to participate in such events but you kept it all free. Truly a testament to your passion for spreading the BMW love. Thank you.

Couldn't agree more! Makes me sad, but happy to know we enjoyed the best era of BMW enthusiast ownership possible! Many thanks to Jay and everyone who made these events possible.

Thank you so much Jay for everything, i have a feeling that nobody in Ontario has put in so much into these cruises as you did, and it is truly appreciated!!

These cruises were epic, and i still have pictures somewhere where i started coming with my first E36 !!

Ignore the ridiculous captions, this was at one of the first Spring cruises I attended back in 2007 or 2008 I believe. Kennedy Commons if memory serves me right. Can’t believe a decade has passed.

Thanks so much guys. It was a tough decision to make and one that I've contemplated for years. I will definitely miss the good times. Thanks to Bruce for the opportunity and believing in a teenager to run the events on here. It was ballsy and I definitely had a lot to learn and get better at. I appreciate the confidence in me!

I plan to do a ton more travelling with my newfound free time. There's a lot of roads that I need a plane to get to but can't wait to drive. Wish me luck.

Thanks Jay for all the time and effort spent planning the cruises from an original OG Maxbimmer member! Although I only made a couple of them, the groups that joined on them were filled with awesome people! Anuk! love that pic, I remember your E36 like it was yesterday and those damn 19" rims lol, and can't forget Jay's Yellow E36 with 18" style 5's that got me my motivation!

Wow 14yrs? Damn thats a long haul. You did a top notch job on all your cruises. A lot of good memories. Thanks again for all you hard work. I know you put a lot of effort into planning these event. Think my the one that stands out the most is when we took over the downtown core club district . EPIC

So many great times, and Jay kept it fun and safe while staying calm and professional especially during those epic impromptu situations
I have 1000's of photos from some of those good times - Jay you have a natural talent and are indeed one of a kind.

Thanks so much Jay... I wish I could have done more events in the last couple of years, but the ones I did get to come out for were awesome. Yours will be big shoes to fill! Thanks again!
