Flash!! - New e90 M3 Droptop, Wagon and Coupe Pictures

All here: Enjoy!

Meet BMW's M3 range!

23/08/2005 08:06
Performance car enthusiasts can make themselves ready for a feast of BMW M3s as the German carmaker prepares a number of derivatives.

Unlike the previous M3 range, which only consisted of a coupe and cabriolet, the upcoming line-up will include a four-door sedan and a Touring (estate) too.

Not since the E36 3 Series range was there a four-door M3 but as we reported before, BMW is on track to bring this derivative back to rival cars such as the Audi RS4. It is like to be the first M3 model to break cover too - perhaps as early as next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The coupe and convertible M3s will probably be launched, along with the mainstream 3-Series coupe and drop-top, at next year's Geneva Motor Show.

There is no doubt that the next M3, will be the hottest performance 3 Series too. It will come with a new lightweight V8 producing about 295 kW using the latest dual-VANOS variable valve timing system and BMW's SMG transmission will be standard. .

Insiders say that BMW is implementing new engine build technology to keep the weight of the power train on par with that of the E46 M3.

I've got the current issue of Germany's "Auto Motor und Sport" magazine, and let me tell you, the pic posted above are not genuine (magazine has the real pics). You can even tell they're Pshopped (poorly too)! Look at rear tires on all the cars. The "coupe" is a Pshopped 4-door. The actual coupe has much different lines than the sedan with a higher hood-line and lower windshield. Just look at the rocker-skirts on my pics.

The new M3's are so hot. To anyone who is lucky enough to be buying one new: please keep it in good shape so in 6 or 7 years when i can afford an '06 it will be in decent shape..hahaha

P.S I am glad they are finally building a M3 wagon. There is nothing hotter then a wagon that is killer fast.

The German magazine also mentioned that BMW will also be producing a limited edition Chrome model of the 400HP E90 M3 (with widebody CSL in Chrome later on).
