FS 1998 328i convertible

Orient Blue Metallic
No rust on fenders. Frame is in good shape. Doors are starting to go at the bottom - maybe salvageable. hood is a lost cause. trunk is long gone but remarkably, still latches.

I was intending on finding a donor car and swapping out the rusted panels but realized that I'll never have the time to complete this.

Well loved. Bought June 2009 @ 237xxxkm, now @ 294502km, Oil changes every 5000km since I've owned it

Fully automatic soft top works but needs manual encouragement to clear the tonneau cover.
Rear window is foggy and has 2 small cracks
Has matching hard top in good condition - lights and defog work.
both roofs leak - likely due to a rusted trim piece on the drivers A pillar.
interior is ok but drivers bolster is worn through.
Electronics are good:
Dash - all gauges and lights, locks, windows, power mirrors all work
OBC has dead pixels, but you can still make out "check control ok"
Battery is dead
Windshield is cracked
HVAC fan is not working. Was functional before I put it away, dones't work when I put it on the road last week.
electical AUX fan is missing the blades

Yes, it drives! Shifts well, idles well, engine is smooth. Car is plated and insured and available to test drive.

If you were hoping to certify it you would definitely need a windsheild, HVAC fan, put the hard top on (I was told the foggy soft top window could be an issue). Tires?

Lots of good parts but I have absolutely no interest or time to part it out myself.

New clutch @ 240xxx KM Sept '09

@ 282187km Jan '12
Rear brake rotors (Zimmerman) and pads (OEM)
Fan Blade, Fan Clutch
Radiator
Used water pump (unknown km)

@ 294435km Sept '13
Oil change *
2 post cat o2 Sensors* (*less than 100km on these)
Etested (09/23/13, still valid)

Parts included, but not on the car:
the original springs
set of brake calipers (2 front, 2 rear)
OEM radio w/dim display (CD changer is still in the car and was working up until I put in an aftermarket deck)

17" OEM BMW rims are unique, I haven't seen many others like them. I had them balanced May '12 at which point I was told they were straight. They have Dunlop SP Sport 2000 tires (225/45/R17) that are approaching the end of their usefulness but do have some depth left. I have a matching 5th tire (off rim) as a spare. Rims are good condition. One has 2" of rash that is fairly inconspicuous.

I have a set of Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires 205/55/R16 on 16" steel rims with decent condition wheel covers. Again, some depth, maybe another season left in them or good to store your car on to avoid flat spots on your summer set.

I would like to sell it all in one shot: car, hard top, both rims however, I would let the hard top or one set of rims go separately.

$1100 car (no wheels)
$500 Hard Top
$400 for the 17" summers
$200 for the 16" winters

$2000 OBO for it all.

PM, call, or text - four 0ne six, seven three 5, 55O3

Thanks,
Jonathan
