its not a matter of never tried better its a matter of how long you keeping the car, what you need them for, and what stage your car is at, thats the way I looked at things.

Well, if buying them new and was on a tight budget, I'd rather have Yoko ES100's, which cost roughly the same and is a superior tire.

personally i bought them 2 years ago becuase i was going to sell the car, but instead i decided to keep it, so that was my plan of action, i got all 4 for 325 with tax in and mounted, so im not complaining, on the bimmer I spent a little more lol, more around 1600 dollars lol, but thats becuase of different reasons.

which tires do you use ?
whats the tread rating ?
and where did you buy them from ?

1600 bucks was cheap, when looking around, tirerack wanted 1900 dollars

Toyo T1R 235/40R17
Y speed rated (300km/h), 280 tread wear
Tires & Wheels in North Carolina, and I had them shipped over.

My previous set were Toyo T1S 235/40R17 which I had bought from an Acura dealership in Colorado and had shipped over as well.

Both times were under $1000 after shipping and local installation, actually I believe under $900 to tell you the truth.

The key is to not wait until you're desperate to buy something, then you have time to shop around and find kickass deals.
