E30 parts?

Hey guys,

Was looking at getting an e30 as I've been a fan for a long time. It would be my daily driver. I was just curious on how the aftermarket was for these cars in canada? As in if something breaks are parts hard to find or fairly easy?

Fairly easy i'd say. Rockauto has reeeeally good prices on things, but sometimes you can't find everything you need there in the brands that you trust (sachs, bosch, meyle, lemforder, etc). Otherwise I use pelicanparts, fcpeuro and blunttech, which, depending on the exchange rate, have fair prices. The upside with those are that they have almost anything you'd need.

In a pinch, autopartsway.ca has a bunch of common things, but their prices fluctuate and aren't always competitive to the US sites, even with the exchange rate and shipping. But reliable and fast shipping!

There's also a good amount of local stuff in the southern ontario kijijis/maxbimmer community that, if small enough, i'm sure someone would ship to you out west.
