New Guy Intro
Hello All,
just a quick introduction -- I'm Rob, and I am an active participant in Ontario's grassroots motorsports communities. I am a member of St. LAC (in Kingston), and the Motorsports Club of Ottawa. I am an active autoxer, and lapping day participant.
I drive a 98 M3 four-door (mostly stock), and 90 Miata (mostly non-stock). As well, my friend and I have mostly completed a Turbo Locost (think Lotus 7) using Miata components.
Rob

I should have added "stock, so far" -- actually, since I plan on using it as my DD, there won't be too many crazy mods. I've already changed out the brake lines, added Hawk HP+ pads, UUC transmission mounts, and a second set of wheels with Toyo R888s. Shocks and springs are in the near future.
I've only had the car since February -- and only managed 500 track kilometres to date. Mods will only be to improve weak points for the track.
And I'm lucky -- my wife totally understands the hobby. She's got her own modded Miata, and also particiaptes in autox.
