Hey everyone

Hey everyone, im new on this site. I recently traded my honda CRX for a 1989 325i sedan. Im only 17, so i have very little experience with bmw. So, if anyone could point me in the direction of some good threads on basic maintenance, tricks, etc. it would be enormously appreciated. I understand my first responses will probably be, "search". I have, i just wanna make sure im not missing anything. Thanks alot and hllo to everyone.

welcome littleman....congrats on your first bimmer....the best way to get info on certian topics around here is to ask specific questions....everyone on here is pretty good at helping out.

Basically wait untill you have a issue with your ride....touch wood...and than ask

Once again welcome

yep, i agree with neil, e30's are great cars to start out on. and honestly, for someone without too much driving experience, even a stock e30 325 is plenty of power.

E30 is the BMW that began/keeps the love for the brand alive, a true BMW not like allot of crap they make nowadays, congrats on picking an awesome car!

Thanks for the welcome everyone, ill be posting some pics of the car as soon as i get a chance to. its been raining alot and ive been pretty busy. Its nice to know everyone agrees this is a good car, i wouldn't want to have bought a flop, and my primary goal with the car will be to do some light autocross, aside from its DD role.

Welcome to MaxBimmer, if you're in the GTA, there is a BMW Club run auto-x held in Concord once a month. Check out www.trillium-bmwclub.ca

Congrats on selling the CRX and buying an e30, you did the exact opposite of one of our other members.
