2005 chrystler 300
or
dump money into the 96 328i that i currently own.

IF you HAD to choose 1 of these which one would it be?

dump it into the bimmer...

IF NOT...go for the 300C ( not a caddy fan)

Every one of those can be a great choice.

With the caddy or the 300, you get a brand-new car. I personally wouldn't consider the 300 simply because of the city I live in, and the certain group of people who buy the car. (long story). The CTS is an awesome, albiet small car. Good car for the price. But in the end, if you're happy with the 3er, dump the money into that and have a crazy car.

Then again, you could SAVE the money and buy a much better car in a year or two. I think i'd do that.

I am partial to the CTS. 300's are too plentiful. And unless you get at least a 300C, there's no point. CTS you can get a manual. Or yeah, you can dump the money into the E36. That'd be fun, but it depends on what you want from the car. From the given choices, looks like you want comfort and luxury. CTS FTW.

no point in dumping your money into the E36... you might as well flush it down the toilet. get the cadillac, get it in manual, and enjoy it. its a beautiful car and a pleasure to drive. i personally would never go near the chrysler 300, i think its hideous. caddy is a gentleman's car.

I personally hate domestic cars and would rather spend money on a used bimmer any day.

yea why not upgrade to a different newer BMW, if you want a bigger 4 door you could grab a nice E39 or if you want something ballah, grab a nice 00 or 01 740i, both can be had for proly less then you would be spending on either of those domestics and you'd be getting a better made car IMHO. Plus I don't know if you have driven either but if you care about enjoying the drive when you go out and haveing some fun while doing it, neither of those suit that role, the 300 handles about as well as a 45' yaught and is just about as big as one too, the caddy while it is better then most american vehicles, will be outhandled by a BMW any day of the week, even a 7er...

Also the interiors of both of those are lightyears behind even that of your 328...

yeah, its true... there's some other options i would consider before ever looking at either of those domestics, but he specifically said:

"IF you HAD to choose 1 of these which one would it be?"

I would have to drive both back to back to give him an honest and educated choice then. My buddy in Miami had a CTS, it was not a bad car, the interior could use some work.

I'd grab a 6spd manual CTS with the 3.6 litre motor. The 300 is too heavy and softly sprung imo. As for the 96' 328, I personally wouldn't sink money into an 11 year old car unless I was absolutely passionate about the vehicle. Nonetheless, best of luck with your decision.
