Camera Advice

A guy at work is looking into buying a new camera for around $2000 - 3000 ... he used to be a prof. photographer for Mosport in the early 80's. now he's looking for Digital..

I recommended the Canon EOS 10-D... any other suggestions? I heard this camera apparently has like 6.3 MP!!!

Depends on what lenses he has already. If he already has canon glass, then no need to switch really. If he wants to spend low 2000 then consider the Nikon D70. Waiting til spring around may is a great idea. You know canon is going to come up with something new, so give it some time. My friend is also going to get a new cam, but some time during the summer tho.

BTW, if youre friend is goign to get canon, consider getting it from the states, like . I got my gear there, and saved a bundle compared to canon retailers.
