It was not the green Lotus, and the passing rules had absolutely nothing to do with any incident what so ever. I'd like to make that absolutely clear.

Sorry guys I just realised all this was a bad dream. In my dream, Paul Christians was chasing me down in his track car, then he turned on the bubble machine to get more power but the bubbles landed all over the track, making it slippery and a few cars wiped out. But now I realise it didn't actually happen, it was just some wierd dream I had.

I woke up and the radio was playing a song by Crash Test Dummies.

Nothing else to see here, move on.

Passing rules aint got nothing to do with the crashes. In fact they make it safer, as there is less traffic/frustration.

There was a lotus incident on Friday, which was for people with experience who are responsible for their own actions.

The Green limited edition lotus was fine (love that car).

Great school. Highly recommended for people who want to improve their driving skills.

Enough of the gossip about peoples missfortunes.

The trillium schools are run with the highest regard for safety. This is not some lapping day that let's people do what they want. Every car is teched and signed of by a mechanic, everyone wears helemts, full track marshals and workers are allways present, and you are worked up through the run groups as you demonstrate you can handle it.

This is a school on a closed ciriut to learn car control with top level instructors providing constant monitoring.

If something happens it's not cool to focus on it, or respectful to the drivers that it happens to.

You want to see carnage go watch most of the open lapping days and see it.

A quick heads up about the next school....

Date : June 26th and 27th

location : shannonville

Price : $350 plus gst. Includes dinner on Saturday

This is a rare chance to get the top notch instruction the Trillium BMW club offers on a great track. We will be running the big track and a "wet" skid pad

Spots are starting to book up so don't delay, this is a great chance and a wicked wicked price for 2 days at the track for a car control advanced driving school.

Also you know it's a good circut if the gumballers hit it!

Also, don't forget that it is a registered school, so the fee is considered a tuition, when you claim it on your taxes next year, you get almost half of the fee back as a tax return!!! Tell me that's not a phenominal deal.

Exactly how do we claim it? My wife asked me for the receipt but I don't even remember that one was issued. I'm sure we have to attach a receipt, not just claim it without one. Was it in the driver's package?

I'd like to get the receipt for the last school I was at and she could use the one for last year's DDT school also.

Stop making excuses...you got a nice e46 go learn how to drive it!!

There is also free camping there.

Every school you miss doing makes it harder to un learn all the bad habits we pick ip driving on the street. This is something you need to learn by experiening not from theory (theory helps but you have to feel it I the car)

dude sign up and do it. I am stuck because oft wedding and running other events for the club not being able to do the june and sept schools and it's klling me, you don't know what your missing out on!!

Sonspot, Mid Ohio is not too far from where you are. There are two BMW Clubs in Ohio -

Buckye and Northen Ohio. There is a 3 days school at the end of the month. You may want to check that out.
