ya its plastic but its a much better design than the oem and under less pressue. more than likely the car will be gone before you had issues with it.

I havent looked into that conversion cost. So i cant say. time for you to research it

ok so i guess that would be the last thing on my to do list... thanks for the input though, an aluminum rad is good enough for me... the neck from the rad on the s/ced one broke off :@

I grabbed from JRP because they had it in stock, they didn't have the fan and shroud for e36, had to grab a 14" universal because they didn't have a 16" in stock. Oh well, I was on a tight schedule, I'm in Sault Ste Marie right now, so far so good, rad is holding up! Another 1100km to go tomorrow.

Yes I reused the OEM shroud and tank for that. I plan on getting an aluminum shroud and overflow for it when budget allows.

Doesn't the clutch fan keep the engine balanced?.. Just wondering because it was brought to my attention by a friend.

Also snap some pics, is it a direct oem fit?

most people do the fdm(fan delete mod) thats probably why hes asking.the oem fan with oem shroud will definitely work with the mishi though.
i did the fdm and only have the aux fan. been hmm and hawing at an electric fan.

ill see how things go this summer. i have an extra water temp gauge so i can closely watch things

I'm in the same boat. Didn't want to risk overheating my new motor though.

I Installed my electric fan but haven't wired it yet. definately will soon though, My gauge reads about 140 on the highway, and up to 180 in stop and go traffic and going slow in the city. definately runs pretty hot, will need the fan in the next few weeks I think. All While the shitty temp gauge in the dash stays at 12 o clock.

I just put a Mishimoto in my M3. Fitment isn't the greatest to be honest. The cover that keeps airflow going to the rad on top doesn't fit like stock whatsoever.

Seems like good quality though.

As for someone asking about the Clutch Fan keeping the engine in balance...definitely not. It's attached to the waterpump and not the crank.

I've been running the Fan Delete for 3 years with no issues. I never installed a second aftermarket fan.
