don't mean to sound like a bummer but it's highly unlikely you're ever going to see it again!
If you do; it will be parts of it on another car driving by. Or chopped up and parted out/ shipped over seas or whatever they can do to make money from it. Nothing new in this underground illegal business. It's a huge business and the ins. comp's and cops know all to well.

sorry to hear your misfortune.

Well there were a few stories of people spotting stolen cars driven around! I remember that Skyline that got found with the help of the forum.

So keep your opinion to yourself, im sure the owner knows that the chances of getting the car back are very slim!

EDIT: Poor Girl !

I hope she settles with the insurance, and they pay her much more than its worth! (They should! Its a beautiful STI)

I'll be looking forward to bidding on this theft recovery car very soon at the Auction! (that is if the police do recover it eventually)

Let me know if she ever wants to buy it back!

The 2003-2004 models are easy to steal. I heard there on the top of the theft list. I dont live to far from that area :S

04 STi's are the most stolen vehicle after the Civic SIR. It wasn't until 2005 that Subaru started putting immobilizers in the STi's. Her 2 way viper alarm didn't even go off, which absolutely sucks.

And just got confirmation, this isn't the 4th vehicle. This is the 7th in the 401 and Mavis area.

I play hockey with her, I had to go get her purse once (I was suspended) I locked that thing and checked every door twice (more than on my own car!). Such a nice whip.

Man this sucks.

To Vbimmer: this forum is to share opinions and speak freely.. it's a place to share light on subject matter and to help educate.
To add, if you read the content; it's not an opinion to be politically correct. What I wrote is in fact a "fact." So just relax, if the person who's car was stolen has something to say they can tell me ok DAD!!? Secondly...any car you see driving around is most likely a bunch of kids having a joy ride. Since there have been a number of them stolen and it seems to be a pattern for the model. Any "professional" thief isn't stupid enough to drive around in it.

LOL the chances of anybody seeing that car in 1 piece is a lot closer to none than to slim. Best of luck with insurance.
