e30 differences

Can anyone tell me the e30 width ever changed, between 87 and 89. I have a set of ACS front and rear skirts but they seem wider than my car. They are so wide I thought they were off a 5 series when I tried to put them on. I checked the part number against the ACS website and it matches, so I know it's for the 3 series.

The ACS part numbers are 51713051, 052

Can anyone help.

Thanks

Angelo

I believe the front should fit, but you might have fitment issues because of the different rear arches, I believe the later style bumpers are longer or something and it isn't an exact fit for early cars.

^^ exactly, the rear arches changed in 88, they are slightly wider, than the pre-88. I believe there are some other small changes too. Jordan would be the one to ask, as he modified his plastic bumpers to fit on the 87 body. Quite a bit of work from what I've read.
