I'm interested in meeting up with other E30 M3 owners in the southern Ontario area. I haven't seen many, if any at all on the road. Lots of E30's cruising around but no M's. I've met up wit Otto who has an M and know the guys at Raven, talked to Markus Glarner a lot as well as a sh!t load of the older 2002 owners (use to own one of those). Just trying to get a feel for how many M owners there are. Maybe meet up some time.

I'm in the middle of trying to get a rust free shell up from Dallas to swap out my motor and tranny from my current E30 M3. That's a long story BTW .

cool...

I have seen you on s14 tominizer.... did you see the shell that the guy has got for sale in Oregon?

What was the first upgrade that you did on your E30 M3? oil pan baffle or...??

Ant....

why did you turn your car into a track car? was your body in crappy shape? my thought would be to buy a shell and not ruin another classic time piece?

PUN,

I'm in the process rite now of bringing up a mint condition E30 M3 shell from Dallas. Only thing it's missing in the motor/tranny/ECU and wiring harness for the engine. The '88 E30 M3 I now own that's in the "shed" is going to be the donor car for all the parts I need. Then I'm either going to part it out or sell as a whole what's left. By mid May I hope to start the swap.......... and my list of things to do while the motor is out is LOOOOOOOONG just from a maintenance point of view. I'm going to have to find somewhere to get parts for a decent price. All little things but a big pile of work (motor mounts, gaskets, timing chain tensioner, etc, etc).

That shell in Oregon........ very very tempting !!! But I have that mint Dallas one on the way shortly....... no rust or rot and it's straight.

Been up to Markus's shop...... usually bring a drooling bib with me so I don't slobber on his stuff in the shop
