E83 2010 - Dashboard lights after battery terminals disconnect

1▪Is there a proven (low cost) DIY way to fix those lights on an e83 2010 (last build out of Graz, Austria)?
2▪Do I need a scanner to recode?
3▪Would CARLY pro for BMW work to recode?

4▪How in future can I back up my codes before disconnecting the battery?

P.s. I tried the folklore remedy to no avail for turning the steering wheel end to end.

Thank You

I've cleared codes on my 07 using a cheapo wifi obd2 reader and a free app called torque.
