2011 F10 550i Clutch Warning

Just picked up this car on Saturday in Kansas then drove it 12 hours home (1 of 2 manual 550's for sale in the country in my budget haha). On the way back, this warning came on the cluster and ICS.

It stayed on the entire trip through ignition cycles. Since it wasn't an engine light, my OBD2 reader said the vehicle was clean.

If i tried to punch it, power would cut out about 3500rpm, however if i casually accelerated up to 75mph, i didn't have any issues

Tried searching around here and the other forums but no luck. Anyone familiar with this? i'll likely be taking it to the dealer tomorrow but was hoping for some kind of heads up of what i can expect or if by some chance it's not as crazy as i'm expecting fix wise

A generic OBD reader is pretty useless on BMWs. You'll need to get it scanned by someone with a proper tool or INPA software suite.

A wild guess would be your clutch is toast, and slipping at heavy throttle causing it to throw that error, while gentle throttle let's it hold torque just enough to accelerate.

yeah clutch is gone, and he won't know about flywheel until he takes it apart. But he said most likely with these cars it needs replacing too. So best case 1800 for clutch, worst case 3500 for both -_-
i've had the car a few days
