X3 reliability

Hi folks.

Thinking of buying BMW X3 in Vancouver.
My budget is around 20 k. So for this price I can see models of 2010 with ~ 100k km.

What do you think? I really love BMW cars though heard some bad feedback that this year cars are not reliable and bring a lot of troubles. Service is costy.

Please advise.

Did you buy an X3?
Which year?
How many kms?
Color? / interior / running boards?
Maybe we can take it to the beach some time
Mine is white with tan leather and running boards. 33k kms on it and in storage right now. I put a new battery in it ... have a query post on it right up top.

I think 2010 X3 is the last year of the e83. They worked all the bugs out by then. I've got 305k klms on my 2008 3.0si (n52 engine) and its still going. It's a BMW, service isn't cheap so you either pay or do it yourself. Can't get away from that.
