Nice! What rad is that? Did you have any issues with the OEM rad? Any dyno pulls?

Thank you

Radiator is a zionsville with a 2 speed fan. OEM cooling systems on the 540i are a money pit. Install a zionsville and your cooling system issues are gone forever. But it will set you back $1200 US.
Dyno work was done by RDP MotorSports in Ohio.
385HP to the rear wheels and 400 Lb FT of torque, Installed a smaller pulley on the S/C and that took the HP up to 415 but had torque converter issues, so i went with the larger pulley.
Top speed on the dyno was 141MPH.

I had to change my rad recently - small crack. I saw the Zionsville too, but went with the Nissens OEM type. Strong numbers!!

Any issues with your fan clutch. I've heard horror stories about them exploding when they go and taking out all kinds of stuff.

Actually no.... I installed a new OEM fan clutch 2 years ago. I was having some weird overheating issues - only at the track. After 10 consecutive laps, it would overheat but cool off immediately. As soon as I let up it would be back to normal before finishing the lap.

I thought it was the fan clutch but it turned out to be a lot of dirt caked on the rad exterior. Last year it was 100% but this year it started happening again - eventually the crack appeared so I figure it was losing pressure.
