92.94 3 Series Questions

I drive a 91 CRX right now, but I'm looking at picking up a BMW. It will more than likely be a 92-94 3 Series. Are any models more reliable than the others? How well does the leather hold up? The only reason I'm picking up an older one is because of insurance.

Thanks in advance for your replies,

I think for those years, the 325's were their best reliable car. Personally i don't think bmw leather holds up for too long. It begins to crack and just look old i guess. Can't do anything aout that i think, esp when you're looking at a 92-94. Good Luck! Keep us informed on how your search is going.

Hey! Thanks for your quick replies!

ROB: I'm in Barrie. I don't think I would sell you my car though... you Toronto guys always get better deals... I want to sell it in Barrie to hopefully get somewhat what I put into it. My car is a 91 CRX Si, ZC Engine, Intake, Custom Exhaust with Tanabe muffler, Neuspeed sport springs, almost new (less than 2k) Centreforce clutch, brakes were done with the clutch.

I'm going to try to get around $5000 for it.
