What is ridiculous is that you're on a BMW forum daydreaming you are at Daytona 500 with a Mazda 323! Now how ridiculous does that sound! Very!
actually, I've been to daytona, more than a few times. and let me tell you, that's some real racing. as for my mazda, if you knew anything, you would know that it's a much better platform for a race car than your beeeemer.

I got some good video of you in the 3rd session, and then later in the last session "battle" when Rudy was driving - unfortunately the camera shut off, but we got a solid 5 laps on camera
Just have to edit them and post on youtube!
Turns out in that last session, my front left tire was corded!

Nice to meet you as well!
First track day I've had where I actually had someone to chase which was really fun!
I'll upload some footage as well. Nothing too exciting. Pretty sure the best I managed was a 1:36. But 90% of the time I was doing 1:37's. I'll have to check some of the footage for good laps.
Here's a video of me chasing Shawn. Was a pretty good time!
And another following his brother Chris. I wasn't feeling so good this session (3 hours of sleep). So I decided to lift on the back straight and stay behind. If I was leading, I may have gotten myself into trouble since I wasn't really any quicker in most of the corners.
No actually it's crazy how much your wheel lifts everywhere! I think I need a 1080p GoPro. 720p isn't cutting it anymore. Can barely see anything lol.
I have a feeling if I had my front swaybar on I'll be 3 wheeling as well haha.
Curious how neutral your car feels with the UUC bar on the front and none in the back. And any idea what you're running for spring rates? I just want to get an idea for what to expect putting the bar on. At the moment the car is really easy to drive. Looking for less understeer, but I don't want to be adding any surprise oversteer.
At high speeds, the car feels great - a touch of understeer early to mid corner, which transitions to light oversteer on corner exit. By the end of the day, I was pretty happy with the balance of the car. I think that with a non-corded tire, I may have gotten into the 1:35s, but it's hard to say.
Low speed is where the understeer kinda sucks, but it's still manageable.
I have the UUC bar set to full stiff in the front. The KW clubsport kit comes with 650lb/in front springs, and progressive rear springs.
