I have a 340i with the usual black interior and a manual+ xdrive, it has a couple options like HUD, 6wb, ACC and the luxury line package, Idrive 6. I was curious to see more info on how many of these were made, I am sure it isn't too rare but always interesting to know: A583285

It was not possible, at least in the NA market to get ACC with a manual

Awesome forum! I just recently realized how few 6mt sedans were made with AWD and I got curious.

My last 7 characters on the VIN are [KZ71573]

From what I can get it's a Black Saphire Metallic color code (475) with the 6MT and N52 engine. It currently has a full black interior (sport seats) but my VIN checks said the car was originally equipped for "Dakota". I'd love some model production numbers and clarification as to whether the interior has been replaced or not. Cheers!

Dakota just refers to the type of leather, not the color of the leather. Some other "leathers" that BMW has used include Alcantara, Boston, Merino, Nappa, Nevada, Novillo, Vernasca and, of course, SensaTec.

Depending on the VIN decoder you're using, you'll likely either get the color listed English like this: "Leather Dakota/black/accent oyster dark? or in German like this "Leder 'dakota'/schwarz." In both of these examples the car had a black Dakota leather interior.

Good luck with the rest of the rest of details you're requesting.

I'm just voicing my opinion here, but I've noticed that SickFinga hasn't posted up since the end of Oct last year. We are closing in on 3 months of no updates. I hope all is well with SickFinga and they will return, but at this point I'm not sure about getting info on just how stupid rare my lowly 328 is .

I asked for some specific data in this thread in early Dec 2022; I pursued my local stealership @ BMW Northwest and requested specific data re my 2013 BMW 335is E93 and they blew me off stating they don't have access to that info; unsure where to turn to for the info I/we need....

sickfinga is the only one unfortunately with all that info. Sometimes he can take awhile to respond back because he is busy and does have a life. I realize it's been awhile too.. Kinda unfortunate for us but maybe he will come around again... usually never takes this long.

170 were built for the US market. 27 manual (7 M Sport), 143 automatic (18 are M Sport)

Thanks for that message. I really appreciate it. So between 2009 - 2012 there were 97 built without M-Sport in Automatic.

Although my car is not M-Sport, it does have sport package. And Shadowline Trim with Black headliner. I would guess there can’t be more then a few. I’d love to know
