Looking for local performance shops...

I want to buy Headers and Conforti chip (I did some research and Dinan seems to not be the way to go and Mark D's shop doesnt seem to have the customer support). Anyone know of some local place that will sell me the items .. dont want to pay customs on expensive parts.

For local shops, I think you can contact the sponsor of this forum called Phyton Parts, they're pretty helpful, they'll answer all your questions real fast. They offer a complete line of SS exhaust system complete from header, race cats, high flow resonators. Pretty pricey I'd say, but u don't have to deal with shipping/brockerage fees, no hassles, and you have to support the Canadian economy right?

For software, locally, you can contact MarkD, Dinan (there are a few Dinan dealers in the GTA) and Upsolute Tuning. IMO, you can go either MarkD or Upsolute for the best prices. All the software are pretty much the same, just go with the one you're most familiar with and good customer support. So just in case you have any problem, they'll back you up. Getting Dinan software would be too pricey and same results from the other two softwares. Upsolute Tuning offers 30 days money back guaranteed if you're not satisfied with the results of their software. Better do more research before goin into any decisions tho... best of luck

my advise is.... dont get anything. Modding is nothing but problems and everything ends up costing 3x more than projected for next to nothing gains. IMO, modding isn't worth it

I'd agree w/ that. But I don't think the majority of this forum would agree w/ that considering 85% of the cars here are modded lol. But I totally agree w/ what u're saying, that's why u're losing all the FUN, Rodo!!

well actually you're right... there are gains... you only gain more guilt feelings when you have to dish out more money for unexpected costs!
