Want to swap my 745li to a V6... Anyone got some tips?

Anybody know what 6 cyl engine is good?

And who can do it?

You're better off getting a different car. The cost involved to even make this happen is worth more than value of your 745...

Your first problem will be finding that V6...BMW never made one. Second, to do a swap like this you are looking at about $15K. I only assume you need better fuel economy. In that case, a small underpowered 6cyl will consume almost the same as the V8 to move that HEAVY car. If you want to save on fuel, get a propane conversion, will save 50% off gas price. I know a few 7 series owners who run the same, they are happy.
