Dealer service assistant got back to me. Basically no real offer of compensation on any of the service claims I made past checking the fuses and moving them to the right spots in the fuse box if I find something not working. In their experience a litre and a half of oil overfill doesn't cause problems. Any seals, bearings...that might fail would be considered as a result of normal wear and tear and not due to an engine oil overfill. Pointed out extra pressure could make a gasket or seal fail before it's time or foamed oil in crankcase could cause undue engine wear. No budge. No freebies offered.
I'm a bit disappointed that the service quality didn't specifically concern him. Covers just hanging on and relays in the wrong spot aren't huge big deals but as a matter of conscientiousness my trust in their service quality has been eroded. You can't sell your service to me as high standard if you give me the impression that what I found is not concerning to you. No engine oil level follow up test after the fill, no fuse box schematic review and test, no mention of an issue with securing some covers. I didn't expect the cover problem to be fixed for nothing but at least let me know about it so I can fix it if I can. Anyway, looks like I'll do the work I'm able myself and drop her off for decent aftermarket service when needed. I'll keep the dealership work to recalls.

They don't care because they know 99.9% of customers can't be bothered to DIY and the other stealerships aren't any better.

That's been my experience with other dealers. As a responsible still under warranty owner of other cars I used to follow the service schedule and have dealers do the job until; checked spark plug exchange once and found 1 didn't look like it was replaced and all were gapped out of spec, a crank case gasket was replaced with a kink and engine lost almost all it's oil before I found it (dealership fixed it but I still had to scramble and go out of the way to find enough oil to keep her in a safe fill range), had a fuel mix solenoid failure not diagnosable by a dealer that tried to replace everything else but what ended up being the problem... Thought maybe this BMW dealer would have had higher standards. Ended up with the same mistrust of their quality control and competence as the other dealership services. Disappointing. Why I started working on my own cars.
BMW had a chance to honour reasonable claims and offer in good faith compensation. I will respond to their survey now with a clear conscience.
