Compatible Winter Tire and Rim sizes

Looking to get winters for my 2013 760LI M sport.

Would 18's fit? I saw that some of these cars have 245 45 19 on the fronts, would 245 50 18 fit well on this car, worried about clearance for brakes. I'm looking at Simply Tire and they don't have the 7 series listed, but they have some 245 50 18's listed under the x3 section, wondering if this would work.

Also is it usually advised to get the same size tire all the way around? Car is RWD. Or should the rears be wider.
