Body Shop Prices.. what do you think?

Hey all, What do you think is a decent price on a M-tech II installation and painting.

Then how much if I add in painting chrome, and removing dents, and fixing a rusting area where my car was rearended?

What do you thin it would be in American $?

I just had my floors replaced , rockers done and doorskins. I paid like 1100. So I think install paint and touch up shouldn't cost more than 1500. If repainting whole car when it is done( no colour change)

You have to see what kind of quality you want....its like asking how much a BMW costs..it can be a 318 for $500 or an M3 for $50000....
If you pay anything less then $2000 for bodywork/paint/kit instal you might see problems with the quality....Remember the maint thing about paint is time spent on it...and since time is money, the more you spend the better it looks, and the longer it lasts...

I didn't get my whole car painted. Just the bottom.( where the work was done). Besides there was work done I didn't ask for and I didn't have to pay the extra.( about $1000)

Hey man I also have a 325e and I just had it painted last year. I painted it tangerine orange and added some metallic and frost blue perl in to it as well. I also has some rust spots and a couple of dents and it cost me $2100 canadian. I don't have a body kit yet but when I do the guy that painted my car says he will do it for nothing more than $400, so you do the math. Eurostyle is right it all depends on the quality that you want, but my advice is get a factory color (and there are some nice ones if you look) and spice it up with some perl and metallic. The out come is real nice and it will even change the color a bit from the origional.
