That either means you make very little or that he is a very bright guy working in a very high position, which makes your point null.

Most countries in europe are more expensive to live in and people make less $$$. The only saving grace for most people in those countries, is that many of the do not have mortgages they need to pay for every month like most of us do, so they have a little bit more expendable income.

He's a network admin, thats not exactly a genius job, but you know, living downtown warsaw in a huge loft, taking delivery on a brand new alfa spider, two kids, wife, and a brand new fiat bravo for the wife... sounds like a hard knock life to me.

I guess you are ready to move back to Warsaw then?
I am sure once you start digging, things will not be as peachy as they sound.

Warsaw is too expensive - would go for Gdansk or Cracow or even Wroclaw.

Europe is very expensive to live in and wages are extremely low. Unless you're living in Germany or England - or one of the richer european countries, I think you might find things are quite, quite different. Anecdotes dont prove anything about how well off a nation is.

Also, just because you may not have a good salary, doesn't mean others are in the same boat.

To me that looks as one isolated scenerio. Now if that is not true, could you tell us why Polish ppp (purchasing power parity) is below EU average or EU average at the best. If you want to make 4 x amounts of an verage Canadian salary, you have to be some sort of minister in Poland.

More realistic scenerio would be that his family signed him over a condo/house, but he is burning his salary money to live good life which is good. Even that is not easy because most Poles sold everyhing, but now they would find it too expensive to buy a property and move back. That goes not only for Poland, but for all the cities that were ruled under the "iron curtain"....

All of europe is a mess Ivan. Its the same shit everywhere, except in countries where the economy has been traditionally strong. (e.g. Germany, England).

Good way of thinking. Honestly, as long as I get fed with some food and get some fresh pussy, that is all I care about.
