Who've used zip cars?

Give me some review good/bad, sold my car and while im in search of other wheels, im toying with idea to use a zip car for a month or two, in theory its not that bad.

my brother who lives downtown at u of t uses them all the time. There's almost always cars available, and with a monthly plan its not that expensive.

You will not qualify for zipcars if you have more than 2 speeding tickets or any major tickets (over 29km/h over the limit, careless, DUI, etc)

I use it from time to time, it is better than renting a car since you don't have to pay insurance or gas and you dont have to do all the booking and pick-up mumbo jumbo. But make sure that there is a zipcar close to where you live.

I usually use it for the daily rates, the hourly rates aren't that great of a deal. I wish that they would allow you to pick it up at one location then drop it off at another, it would be much more convenient.

So it really depends on what you would be using it for. For example if you use it to go buy groceries, borrowing a car for 2 hours would be around $20...
