Monday Car goes under the knife.
Well, this Monday my car is going under the knife for a S54 and 6-spd swap. For some of those who might ask, that they want my motor. I traded it + Cash for a Stock S52 and i kept the M50 Manifold. If anyone wants a Stock S52 with M50 Mani, with tranny PM me.
Ill try to get as much pics from the swap as i can but. Hopefully it should be fun. But i cant decide on a rear end. Im thinking about running a 4.10 like Tom(JazzM). Also i think im getting a CSL CF Airbox as well.

Good luck man, you are going to have one fine vehicle!
one thing tho, if you consider ltw fly (you have to if you going through all that) it's going to be pretty rattly with 6spd.
Also are you opening up the bottom end? (faulty bearings) if you do, shave and blade the crank for even lesser rotational mass

Ok for those who are still lost. Anthony traded his modded s52, + cash for a s54 and a stock s52.
anthony make sure you put CSL cams in, run software (considering running standalone anyway?) and get headers and a gruppeM exhaust
kidding.

Thanks for the info. I havent done to much searching on the drivetrain on these. For rattling that doesnt matter to me. As long as it functions, its all good.

Im not sure how the swap is. I believe mike had Tec3 on his one at Bimmercruise. He said its gonna be the same setup as his but i want the CSL peices. But im gonna lighten up my car aswell. So it should be a real crazy car.
There is someone on M3forum.com whom has done it with all tuning and R-Comps. He ran a 12.5 or 12.7 in the 1/4 on a stock S54 and Stock wieghted E36 M.
