Front plates question.



Hi, i have a question about front plates. Having ontario front plates make da car look ugly lol. Can i still get a ticket if letsay i got euro plates that say same shit as my real plates?

no, they wont give you a ticket, as long as the plate says the same thing.

^ Not really.
You may get a ticket. I know someone who had an European plate for about a year and a half - he got pulled over once! Chances are slim - but yes.. the ticket is there

you will get a ticket. You have to have both ONTARIO plates on the vehicle that are exactly the same except for the back one having the sticker. Thats the law. And they have to be placed in a "proper and viewable" area, which means not on the windshield either.

you're probably better off not running a front plate at all.

No front plate here

I just keep the plate in my trunk, and if I get pulled over, I tell the officer that I hit something on the highway and the plate fell off, and I will put it back on when I get home.

I was pulled over ONCE for the front plate, but then he was more interested in my paint, and if it was legal.

But yeah, you are supposed to have the Ontario plate mounted on the front of the car, and no having a euro plate behind it or anything... Coppers say its confusing and can/may give you a ticket for that too.

Not that hard to confuse some cops tho.
